Production timelines and delivery information
Introduction
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how Sketch2Shape handles the production and delivery of your custom 3D-printed products. As all our products are made-to-order, our shipping timelines include both production and delivery phases.
This policy complies with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and Zoho Payments merchant requirements for physical goods.
Service Area
2.1 Current Delivery Coverage
We currently deliver to:
- Karnataka: All districts within Karnataka state where courier services are available
2.2 Areas with Limited Service
Delivery to certain remote areas within Karnataka may:
- Take additional 3-5 days beyond standard timelines
- Incur additional shipping charges
Serviceability will be verified at checkout based on your PIN code.
2.3 Upcoming Expansion
We are actively working to expand our delivery coverage to other Indian states. Follow us on Instagram @sketch2shape for updates on new serviceable regions.
Order Processing & Production Time
Since all Sketch2Shape products are custom-made, your order goes through the following stages after payment confirmation:

Shipping Time & Delivery
4.1 Shipping Timeframes
After production is complete, shipping time depends on your location within Karnataka:

4.2 Total Delivery Time
Maximum Expected Time: 18-20 business days for remote areas within Karnataka
The estimated delivery date will be displayed at checkout and in your order confirmation email.
4.3 Shipping Partners
We work with reputable logistics partners including DTDC, India Post, and other regional partners as needed.
Shipping Charges
5.1 Shipping Fee Structure

5.2 Promotional Free Shipping
During promotional periods, we may offer free shipping on all orders. Such offers will be clearly communicated on our website.
Order Tracking
6.1 Tracking Information
Once your order is shipped:
- You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details
- The email will include the courier partner name and tracking number
- A direct link to track your shipment will be provided
- You may also receive SMS updates (if phone number is provided)
6.2 Production Status Updates
We provide updates during the production phase:
- Order Confirmed: Payment received, queued for production
- In Production: Your product is being manufactured
- Quality Check: Product inspection in progress
- Shipped: Handed over to courier with tracking info
- Delivered: Successfully delivered
Delivery Process
7.1 Delivery Address
Please ensure your delivery address is:
- Complete and accurate (including landmark, floor number if applicable)
- Serviceable by courier partners
- Has a valid PIN code
- Includes a correct contact number for delivery coordination
7.2 Delivery Attempts
- Courier partners typically make 2-3 delivery attempts
- If delivery fails, the package may be held at the nearest courier office for pickup
- Unclaimed packages will be returned to us after 7 days
- For returned packages due to customer unavailability, re-shipping charges will apply
7.3 Receiving Your Order
When receiving your delivery:
- Check the package for visible damage before accepting
- If the outer packaging is damaged, you may refuse delivery or accept with written remarks
- Open the package carefully and inspect the product
- Report any shipping damage within 24 hours or defects within 48 hours with mandatory unboxing video evidence (see Refund & Cancellation Policy)
- Retain the packaging until you've verified the product
Delays and Exceptions
8.1 Possible Causes of Delay
Delivery may be delayed due to:
- High order volumes during peak seasons (festivals, holidays)
- Inclement weather conditions
- Natural disasters or force majeure events
- Courier operational issues
- Remote location accessibility issues
- Incomplete or incorrect address requiring verification
- Complex or large orders requiring additional production time
8.2 Non-Delivery
If your order is not delivered within 7 days beyond the maximum expected delivery date:
- Contact us at pgrudrakshi@gmail.com with your Order ID
- We will initiate an investigation with the courier partner
- If the package is confirmed lost, you will be eligible for a full refund or re-shipment (your choice)
Packaging
We take special care in packaging 3D-printed products:
- Products are wrapped in protective material to prevent damage
- Fragile items include additional cushioning and "Fragile" labels
- Packages are sealed to ensure tamper-evidence
- We use eco-friendly packaging materials where possible
Gift packaging options may be available for select products (indicated at checkout).
Special Circumstances
10.1 Festival and Holiday Periods
During major festivals and holidays (Diwali, Christmas, New Year, etc.):
- Order volumes may be higher, leading to extended production times
- Courier services may have reduced capacity or service disruptions
- We recommend ordering at least 2-3 weeks in advance for time-sensitive occasions
- Updated delivery estimates will be shown at checkout during peak periods

For bulk orders or corporate gifts:
